Active on Frontend
If you want certain plugins to remain active everywhere on the frontend, go to:
Freesoul Deactivate Plugins > Miscellaneous > Active on Frontend and enable the plugins you want to keep active.
Important: Only the Custom URLs settings can override the plugins activated here. All other settings (Singles, Post Types, Archives, etc.) will be overridden by this option.
The example below shows how to keep Asset Preloader active on all frontend pages.

⚠️ Warning
- Overriding caution: If you activate many plugins here, they will run on all pages, which may affect performance.
- Custom URLs take priority: Make sure to check Custom URLs rules to avoid conflicts with this setting.
✅ Active on Frontend Checklist
- ☐ Identify essential frontend plugins to keep active
- ☐ Enable them under Active on Frontend
- ☐ Check that Custom URLs do not conflict with this setting
- ☐ Preview multiple pages to verify correct plugin behavior
Real-world example
- Keep Asset Preloader active on all pages to improve frontend performance.
- Keep SEO plugin active site-wide to ensure metadata is applied on all pages.
- Keep analytics or tracking plugins active everywhere while selectively deactivating other non-critical plugins.
Tip: Use this option for plugins that must always run on the frontend, like performance, analytics, or SEO plugins, while other plugins can be managed with Singles, Post Types, or Custom URLs settings.
